About Zammad
Zammad is a German open-source helpdesk and customer support platform whose source is owned by the independent Zammad Foundation, with commercial cloud and support delivered by Zammad GmbH. Channels include email, web chat, telephone, social, Microsoft 365 and WhatsApp Business, with a unified ticket inbox, text modules, macros, triggers, schedulers, business hours, multilingual UI and AI ticket summaries. The Community Edition is free to self-host; cloud plans run roughly €5–€24 per agent per month, hosted on ISO 27001-certified German servers under GDPR.
