Penta

Penta is a Berlin-based digital business banking platform for SMEs, freelancers and startups in Germany, founded in 2017. It offers a German IBAN business account, multiple debit cards (physical and virtual) with per-employee spending controls, multi-user access and roles, expense management, accounting exports to DATEV and Lexware, and cash-flow tools. In July 2022 Penta was acquired by French SME bank Qonto, and the products are being merged into a single platform under the Qonto brand while Penta continues to serve its German customer base.
