Sleep Cycle

Sleep Cycle is a sleep-tracking and smart-alarm app made by Sleep Cycle AB (formerly Northcube), headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The app uses patented sound and motion analysis so the phone can sit on the nightstand rather than under the pillow, then wakes the user during their lightest sleep phase within a chosen 30-minute window. Features include detailed sleep statistics and long-term graphs, sleep notes, snore detection with silent vibrating wake-up, and a library of sleep sounds, guided meditations and bedtime stories. iOS, Android and Apple Watch apps are available; a free tier covers basic tracking and Premium unlocks the full library and analytics.
