About LibreWolf

LibreWolf is a free, open-source web browser, a community-maintained fork of Mozilla Firefox first released in March 2020 and developed in the open on the Codeberg platform. It strips Firefox of telemetry, sponsored content and Pocket integration, disables auto-updating, ships with uBlock Origin and the Tor Project's "resist fingerprinting" anti-fingerprinting hardening enabled, and defaults to privacy-respecting search engines such as DuckDuckGo and Searx. The project is volunteer-run with no formal corporate hierarchy. Builds are available for Windows, macOS, Linux and BSD; it is free to download and use.
