About Balloon
Balloon is a German mindfulness and meditation app developed in Berlin by a team around Dr. Boris Bornemann, a psychologist and neuroscientist who worked on the Max Planck ReSource Project, the largest meditation study to date. The app offers a free introductory course in stress-reduction techniques and a growing library of more than 200 meditations and mindfulness exercises, organised into in-depth courses on better sleep, happiness, stress reduction, emotion regulation and everyday mindfulness, plus sleep aids. Content is conceived and narrated by Bornemann; Balloon is certified by Germany's Zentrale Prüfstelle Prävention so courses qualify for statutory health-insurance reimbursement.
