About Archicad
Graphisoft is a Hungarian software company founded in 1982 and headquartered at Graphisoft Park in Budapest, where it has built a campus that also hosts Microsoft, SAP and Canon. Its flagship product Archicad was introduced in 1987 and pioneered the Virtual Building concept that later became known as Building Information Modeling (BIM). Archicad now serves architects, designers and engineers in 108 countries and 27 languages, with Teamwork for parallel multi-user editing, IFC-based interoperability and visualisation tools. Graphisoft is part of the Nemetschek Group and is shifting Archicad to the Archicad Collaborate subscription model by 2026.
