Tolino

Tolino is the e-reading platform of an alliance of leading German booksellers — Thalia, Weltbild, Hugendubel, Mayersche, Osiander and Libri together with eBook.de — covering roughly 1,500 stores across Germany. The system spans dedicated e-readers (the tolino shine and vision lines, with 300 ppi E Ink displays, waterproofing and tap2flip page turns), free cloud storage of purchased books, support for open EPUB formats and free Wi-Fi at Deutsche Telekom hotspots in Germany. Books can be bought from any participating tolino retailer and read across devices. Since 2017 Rakuten Kobo has been the technology partner.
