Storytel is a Stockholm-based audiobook and e-book subscription service founded in 2006 by Jonas Tellander and Jon Hauksson. The platform offers more than 1.8 million titles in over 55 languages to roughly 2.7 million subscribers across 25+ countries, including Storytel Originals exclusive content. Subscriptions start around €6.49/month with a 7-day free trial; family plans, a Kids Mode, offline listening, sleep timer and seamless switching between reading and listening are included. The company also operates the Mofibo and Audiobooks.com brands.
