LOVOO is a mobile dating and live-video app founded in 2011 and based in Dresden, Germany, run by LOVOO GmbH. It is the leading dating app in the German-speaking countries by app-store downloads, with around 5 million monthly active and 1.9 million daily active users and roughly €27.2 million annual revenue split between subscriptions, in-app purchases and ads. LOVOO was the first dating app to use a GPS Radar to surface nearby users and added LOVOO Live for live-streaming video, virtual gifts and group chat. The Date Map suggests local venues for first dates. Acquired by The Meet Group in 2017, LOVOO is now part of ParshipMeet Group, majority-owned by ProSiebenSat.1.
