Foodvisor

Foodvisor is a French nutrition-tracking app founded in 2015 and based in Paris. The product's differentiator is on-device deep-learning image recognition: snap a plate and the app identifies foods, estimates portion sizes (using camera autofocus to gauge plate distance) and logs the nutritional breakdown. Beyond the AI camera, users can scan barcodes, browse a food database and follow workout videos. Premium plans add personalised plans built by registered dietitians and an in-app chat with a nutritionist, which is unusual among AI calorie trackers. Foodvisor was acquired by Xynergy in January 2026.
