FabFilter B.V. is a Dutch audio plug-in developer founded in 2002 by Floris Klinkert and Frederik Slijkerman, based at Keizersgracht 467 in Amsterdam. The company builds mixing, mastering and creative plug-ins (VST/VST3/AU/AAX) widely regarded as industry standards, including the Pro-Q equaliser, Pro-C compressor, Pro-L limiter, Pro-R reverb and the Twin and Volcano synths. FabFilter won an Engineering Emmy in 2019 for Pro-Q 3. Plug-ins are sold direct with perpetual licences and a free trial; customers range from project studios to top mixing and mastering engineers.
