Penpot

Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping tool built by Kaleidos, a Madrid-based open-source company founded in 2011. It runs in the browser or fully self-hosted and works with open web standards (SVG, CSS, HTML, JSON), so designs map cleanly to code. Recent releases added native design tokens, a CSS Grid layout engine, a redesigned UI and a new components system, positioning Penpot as a collaboration tool for designers and developers on the same files. The product is free to use, with a hosted version at penpot.app.
