Normative is a Stockholm-headquartered carbon-accounting platform founded in 2014, with offices in Copenhagen and London. The product calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to GHG Protocol standards using a proprietary engine and a database of more than 349,000 emission factors and 18,000 activity types covering over 200 countries. Each customer is paired with a named Climate Strategy Advisor for the baseline and ongoing reviews, and an in-app AI Assistant draws on 21 scientific databases to explain factors and methodology. Two packages — Essential and Premium — are sold by quote, used by 350+ businesses.
