Greenbone

Greenbone is a German vulnerability-management vendor founded in 2008 and headquartered in Osnabrück, with subsidiaries in the UK, Italy and the Netherlands. It develops and operates the OpenVAS scanner and the surrounding Greenbone Vulnerability Management framework, available as an open-source Community Edition and commercial Enterprise/Cloud appliances. The platform helps IT teams discover and remediate vulnerabilities across networks and is positioned as a GDPR-compliant European alternative; it protects more than 100,000 installations in over 150 countries.
